Longworth chuch workshop

Postby henry » Tue Oct 30, 2018 9:06 pm

I recently saw an ad for longworth chucks. It reminded me of the workshop we had a few years ago where we all made Longworth Chucks. Loyd did the planning and did a great job but the highlight of the day was the lunch Stanley fixed us ! ( sorry Loyd ) Stanley stood out in the rain to bbq chicken and ribs, WHAT A GUY ! Pictures of the event are in the Gallery- look for Workshops and then Longworth Chucks.

Good job Loyd and Stanley ! It was a great day.

Yea I remember that also and all the great food. Loyd did a wonderful putting that together and it was great that you gave us a place to have it.

I have been seeing a lot of longworth chucks being made on CNC's now. Some just sale the two disc and you use your own hardware.

We had lots of those kinds of events in years past. Everyone is so busy these days and we don't seem to do it anymore. BTW: Where is Stanley?

I'm betting that Stanley is fishing or at least thinking about going fishing.

Yes Stanley stays at the lake every weekend from Friday night to Sunday afternoon. He is 2 houses down from me but I hardly ever see him.
