Which Hot Glue the Best?

I don't use a lot of hot glue but do sometimes when using glue blocks on the lathe and a few other times on other things. This video shows a test of about 7 different brands of hot glue.

The wood tests interested me more than the PVC. The question is how to differentiate between failures in the glue and pull out of the wood fibers. With those strengths though, it seems to me that about any one of those glues would be a good bet. It changes my mind on hot melt glues. I've never trusted them for turning blocks -- opting to just use wood glue and letting it dry overnight -- but I think this changes my mind. Hot melt is pretty economical and lets you get to work a lot faster.

I wonder if anyone else is using hot melt.
