Someone saw my segmented stuff and gave me some maple cutoffs from his woodpile. I don't usually use cutoffs since it's hard to come up with what you need. This time I looked over the cutoffs and designed a small vessel with what the woodpile provided. I had to improvise a bit to supplement the woodpile which I was able to do from my own cutoff pile. It's not the most elegant turning but it's more attractive than the pile of wood if came from.
